About the Journal

The Journal of Engineering Simulation and Modeling (JESM) is a premier, single-blind peer-reviewed international open-access journal published by Karya Straits Press. We are dedicated to advancing the theoretical and applied mechanics of engineering through computational science, providing a global platform for researchers, academics, and industry professionals to publish high-quality, original research.

Focus and Scope

JESM bridges the gap between physical engineering challenges and advanced numerical solutions. We welcome original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and rapid communications across broad mechanical engineering disciplines. We embrace any methodology that leverages computational power to evaluate, predict, or solve engineering problems. Core subject areas include, but are not limited to:

  • Finite Element Analysis (FEA), computational solid mechanics, and structural modeling.

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), heat transfer, and complex fluid-structure interactions.

  • Computational materials science, multi-scale modeling, and molecular dynamics.

To ensure the permanent availability and preservation of scholarly research, this journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) systems. These systems create a distributed archiving framework among participating libraries, permitting those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of long-term preservation and restoration.
